Recognizing the need for larger, more modern facilities, a group of established Provo physicians requested the services of our development company. The medical center, completed in the fall of 2004, is a 42,000 square foot building located at the site of the doctors’ former offices. The building consists of three levels of office space with underground parking facilities. PEG Development partnered with the occupants of the existing medical office to prepare and organize financing, development, and entitlements through the city government. This project presented the unique challenge of meeting the needs of a variety of health professionals, which include distinctive office layout, medical equipment, and patient accessibility. However, working in conjunction with the architect in a design-build process has allowed us to readily adapt to the needs of the physicians.
